Vixen R200SS Reflector Telescope
Vixen R200SS Reflector Telescope Sale price$1,999.99 USD

Unleash high-speed deep sky imaging and rich visual observation with the Vixen R200SS, a lightweight Newtonian telescope featuring a fast f/4 focal ratio and precision 200mm parabolic primary mirror. Optimized for astrophotographers and visual observers alike, the R200SS delivers tack-sharp views without chromatic aberration, making it ideal for capturing nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, and comets.

This telescope uses Vixen’s proprietary aluminum mirror coating system, the same found on their elite VC200L, applied via advanced vacuum evaporation technology to maximize light transmission and clarity. When paired with an optional coma corrector (sold separately), users can enjoy pinpoint star sharpness across the full field of view—especially valuable for wide-field astrophotography.

Despite its large aperture, the R200SS remains lightweight and portable, making it an excellent choice for field use or remote dark sky travel. Its compatibility with 2" eyepieces also provides visual observers with greater flexibility and a wider selection of accessories.

I took a chance on this store since I hadn’t heard of it before, and I’m glad I did. My telescope came quick, was packed well, and worked great right out of the box. No complaints at all. Nice to see a smaller store get things right.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but everything went smooth. Got tracking info right away, and my binoculars arrived quicker than I thought. No issues, just good service and a solid product.
