Return and Refund Policy

Customers in the United States have the right to initiate a return within 14 days of delivery. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

3.1 Conditions for Return

  • Unused and Undamaged: The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.

  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all labels and tags attached.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Service

    • Email Support@onpointoptics.com or call 463-233-9838 within 14 days of delivery.

    • Provide your order number and a brief reason for the return.

  2. Return Authorization

    • After reviewing your request, we will provide detailed return instructions.

    • If applicable, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid shipping label.

    • The return must be shipped within 7 days of receiving the RMA to remain valid.

4.2 Preparing Your Return

  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

  • Include all accessories, manuals, and any promotional items that came with the product.

  • Attach the return authorization form and any necessary supporting documents.

  • Affix the shipping label to the outside of the package.

4.3 Shipping the Return

  • Use a trackable shipping method such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground.

  • The item must be shipped within 7 days of receiving the RMA to ensure timely processing.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Company Responsibility: If the return is due to a defective product, shipping damage, or an order error, On Point Optics will cover return shipping costs.

6. Specific Return and Refund Conditions

6.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind

  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging.

  • The return request must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • A refund will be issued minus a restocking fee (if applicable).

6.2 Defective or Damaged Goods

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide photos or videos showing the defect or damage.

  • We will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs.

6.3 Incorrect Product Received

  • Notify us immediately upon receipt.

  • We will cover the return shipping cost and ensure you receive the correct product.

6.4 Product Never Arrived

  • If your product does not arrive within the estimated delivery time, contact us.

  • We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier.

  • If confirmed lost, we will offer a full refund or send a replacement product.

6.5 Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment: You may cancel your order for a full refund if it has not been shipped.

  • After Shipment: If the order has already shipped, please follow the return process after receiving the product.

7. Exceptions to the Return Policy

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom or Personalized Products: Items that have been made to order or personalized.

  • Hygiene-Sensitive Items: Items such as eyewear cleaning cloths and protective gear cannot be returned once opened.

  • Gift Cards & Digital Products: Including downloadable software or electronic gift cards.

8. Refunds

8.1 Refund Conditions

  • Refunds are issued only after we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • You will receive an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

8.2 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • It may take up to 14 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

8.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in cases such as:

  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Late returns (items returned more than 14 days after delivery).

9. Exchanges

  • Processing time: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, the exchange will be processed within 3-5 business days.
