Alpen Optics Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy
Effective as of 3/24/25
At On Point Optics, we are proud to be an authorized dealer of Alpen Optics products. The following warranty policy applies exclusively to Alpen Optics products purchased from On Point Optics by customers residing in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America.
1.0 Limited Lifetime Warranty Coverage
All Alpen Optics products are covered by an Unlimited Lifetime Warranty provided by Explore Scientific LLC, the official warranty provider for Alpen Optics in the United States and surrounding regions.
This warranty guarantees that your Alpen Optics product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
2.0 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for warranty service under this policy:
- The product must have been purchased from Alpen Optics directly or an authorized dealer.
- The purchaser must be the original owner of the product.
- The product must be registered within sixty (60) calendar days of the original purchase date.
- The product must be located within the USA, Canada, Mexico, or South America at the time of the warranty claim.

3.0 What the Warranty Covers
During the lifetime of the product, Alpen Optics (via Explore Scientific LLC) will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair any covered product found to be defective in materials or workmanship
- Replace the product with an equivalent or superior product, should repair not be feasible
There are no service charges for warranty repairs. Customers may be responsible for shipping costs depending on the age of the product or nature of the service request.
4.0 Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Products purchased from unauthorized dealers, including online marketplaces such as eBay, Alibaba, or AliExpress
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance or usability
- Loss, theft, or intentional damage
- Damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper storage
- Damage resulting from unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification
- Products not registered within the required 60-day period
5.0 How to Obtain Warranty Service
To receive warranty service:
- Register your product with Alpen Optics at www.alpenoptics.com using the product’s serial number.
- Visit the Alpen Optics Returns Portal to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request.
- Provide the RMA number, a description of the defect, your name, shipping address, and contact phone number in your return package.
- Ship the product using a tracked and insured carrier to the return address provided during the RMA process.
Please note: Failure to include a valid RMA number or required documentation may delay processing or void your claim.
6.0 International Customers
This warranty applies only to Alpen Optics products purchased in and returned from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America.
For products purchased outside these regions, warranty service is managed by authorized international distributors. Please refer to:

This warranty is provided in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights which vary by state or country.
Explore Scientific LLC reserves the right to inspect any returned product to determine warranty eligibility. Decisions made under the terms of this warranty are final.
On Point Optics shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use Alpen Optics products.
